Groundnut Oil Extraction Process

There are three main stages when it comes to groundnut oil extraction and they are; Seeds Preparation, Pressing and Refining.

Seed Preparation

In the seed preparation stage, the good groundnut seeds are separated from the bad ones. They are also cleaned so as to get rid of dust, sand, small rock particles, plant debris, etc. The seeds are then broken down into smaller pieces so that the milling can be much easier. More so, the moisture content is controlled through a conditioning process. They are then heated up and ready for the next stage which is the pressing stage.

Pressing
